Earth Day. January 2017
We had a whole day learning about environmental issues. We turned the lights off all day which was very exciting first thing when everyone arrived in the (almost) dark. Then we covered a huge range of topics from endangered animals to bird feeders, from recycling to art from found materials. One class tested the difference between organic and non organic fruit while others made posters and notices. We'll definitely do this again - the children (and staff!) loved it!
