Bake Off. March 2016

Y4 were invited to take part in a Bake Off competition. They were given a recipe and practiced making fruit scones at home. Then they made their scones - while the younger children watched and asked questions, it was like a cookery demonstration! Aileen Reilly from Jus Rol and Mrs Beveridge were the judges and marked the bakers on organisation, tidiness and technique as well as on the end result. Aileen then presented the winner in assembly with a Star Baker apron, flowers and a £20 book token. Everyone who took part had a prize from Aileen too. A lovely day.
