Union Chain Bridge Restoration Workshop
Class 4 loved thinking like real engineers. They found out about how the Chain Bridge is being dismantled and how the different parts are tested to see if they need to be replaced before the bridge is reconstructed. The class enjoyed using Lego models to do engineering drawings, test the various parts (including testing with a UV pen) before replacing parts and rebuilding the bridge. It was great fun and they learned lots of new skills and vocabulary.
