Class 5 Visit to Lindisfarne
Class 5 visited Holy Island as part of their History Topic on The Vikings. They enjoyed visiting the Priory, Church and Museum and also had a walk around the village and beach. It really brought the subject to life for the class and made them think about what it would really be like for the people who lived on the island at the time of the Viking raids. They also learned a lot about the islands Saints who are also the names of our school houses - St Aidan, St Cuthbert and St Bede.
