Code Club

Code Club was founded in 2012, and in 2015 joined forces with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a registered UK charity. There are currently more than 10000 clubs in over 100 countries, and club projects have been translated into 28 languages.

At Code Club, we think all children should have the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from. Children can build and share their ideas, learning along the way.

Our projects are easy to follow, step-by-step guides which help young people learn Scratch, HTML & CSS, and Python by making games, animations, and websites. The projects gradually introduce coding concepts to allow young people to build their knowledge incrementally.

Holy Trinity's Code Club is run by school staff, a governor and ex-pupils.

In November 2017 we were thrilled to be awarded £2,000 from the Community Foundation serving Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. This is enabling us to buy lots of resources from Raspberry Pi to make our Code Club really exciting.
