We had a super day with Marjorie Leithead, a storyteller from Scotland.
Marjorie told stories in all of our classes from nursery to Y4 and what stories they were! We heard about Babushka and Tinsel Spiders, ghosts and witches - and all told from memory. A super day demonstrating the power of words. We are looking forward to reading children's stories now.
A word of wisdom from Marjorie - "isn't it nice just to 'be' instead of having to 'do'"? How true!
